History of Company
Rhoads Lucca Capital Management, Inc. (formerly Rhoads Grunden
Lucca) was officially born in 1996, when Dallas/Rhoads/Associates was
re-named to better reflect the organization of the firm. But the company's
roots go back to 1980, when John opened one of the first financial planning
firms in the nation. The company has evolved with the financial services
industry, reflecting the changing needs of clients and the market.
Together, John Rhoads and Dave Lucca have over 50 years
of experience in the financial services industry. They have seen both
bull and bear markets, and know that a long-term strategy is necessary
to make better investment decisions and avoid costly mistakes.
The Airways Advisor was created by professional money managers
Dave and John. Our fee-only money management firm, Rhoads Lucca
Capital Management (RLC, Inc), manages retirement assets for hundreds
of clients nationwide and a number of foreign countries.
In 2001, we began publishing The Airways Advisor newsletter,
designed to help US Airways pilots manage their 401k assets. The tremendous
success of the newsletter quickly spread to the pilot groups at Northwest
Airlines and Federal Express. In moving the newsletter business to the
web, we chose The Airways Advisor as a name to represent all 401k newsletters
we publish. Our desire is to help all airlines' pilots increase their
confidence by guiding them in what to buy, when to buy and when to sell
to secure their future.
The content contained on this website is based on sound academic and financial principles, but more importantly it is an outflow of our unique understanding of investor needs - particularly as they approach retirement - and that only comes from sitting and listening to the real dreams and goals of real investors and having them trust you to manage the money that has to last forever. We've done just that for over twenty years, through good markets and bad.
